6/8 beat configuration

hi guys,
which is the best way to make music in 6/8 beat in ardour?
by your experience.
Yeah I can reduce it to 2/4 with triplets, but I wonder if you can do “native” 6/8 …

Hi Amira
You can use the TS time signature button at the top of the edit screen:

Click the button to the right of the tempo button beneath the green clocks
you will see the Beats per bar already sected, so just type a 6
then move to the Note value picker below and choose quaver:

Click apply and your done.
I sometimes find the grid disapears after this so in that case, set the grid size to a bar and zoom out. When it reappears, zoom in a bit and change the grid size to 1/8 notes
