The first track is a cover of an old country (western) song and the second track is a cover of an old jazz/pop song. Neither one of these are supposed to be exact imitation-like covers of the original tracks. I just used chord progressions, keys, notes, etc as a foundational inspiriation, but eventually ended up doing my own thing. The time signatures i payed no attention to. Can you guess the original songs? It shouldn’t be too hard because they are both some of the most overplayed tracks.
I used self-recorded and produced percussions (aside from a few kicks from roland drum machines)…most of the samples were recorded in my kitchen during cooking sessions.
Everything is hydrogen, yoshimi, ardour3 and jamin on AV linux 6.0
