This was back in the lockdown time, me and my band mates recording sparately and then I mixed it on Ardour 5.12
Any comments welcome.

Wow. Just wow. It starts with terrific musicianship, totally professional-level. Mix job is great but with the talent you guys have your tunes probably almost mix themselves About as good as it gets IMHO. Loved the smile from the drummer at the end
Well done.
Whoa, hot stuff!! Super tight! Couldn’t agree more with the previous comments, basically nothing to be improved… Lol I think Nathan East should be nervous about his job!
Please share more!
If that’s a cover then I don’t want to listen to the original version 'cause it can’t get any better. (sorry not so familiar with that genre)
Mix is great, everything is in its place. With that pro-level musicianship you can’t go wrong anyway.
Awesome, guys. Just awesome.
I only would double-check two relatively minor things:
Best regards.
Organ? LOL.
That’s a Rhodes Electric Piano.
Thank you all for taking the time to listen and comment out.
@TonyBKDE I usually smile much more than I did in this video… I guess I look so scowling because I could not make real music with real people, but just in front of a webcam. Awful time…
@GMaq Nathan East is just unbeatable! Not only he’s a terrific bass player, but he also sings like angel and (last but not least) he’s really great looking… Nothing left for anybody else!
@peter.zenk Thanks a lot, but I have to disagree on one point: a bad mix can spoil even the best musicians’ performance!
@slash As @SpotlightKid pointed out there’s no organ, but I might agree with you about the low-mid of Rhodes
Great!
Nothing to add to what has been said.
Except, concerning the look of the drummer and his steady playing with smart fills.
I have the feeling that I have Mick Fleetwood here on the video!!!
Beautiful music, and what a sound. Great Job.
Wow, nice work. Y’all are super tight… really solid musicianship, and tastefully mixed.
Thank you all folks!
Lovely.
Acoustically/mixing-wise: the bass is too “close”, too “clean”… the others have various amounts of reverb, so they are believable as being in an acoustic space… but the bass “pokes out” from that illusion. Everyone else sounds “big” due to the reverb… the bass is kinda “caged in” in sound.
Also perhaps play a bit with pushing the drums into the background a bit when the rhodes is playing with someone, as the (lovely) rhodes tone and playing occasionally gets lost behind the drums… the drums are not that important when they are not actively saying something, just providing stable beat. Separate the parts more.
Thank you for the enjoyment.
