This was back in the lockdown time, me and my band mates recording sparately and then I mixed it on Ardour 5.12

Wow. Just wow. It starts with terrific musicianship, totally professional-level. Mix job is great but with the talent you guys have your tunes probably almost mix themselves :wink: About as good as it gets IMHO. Loved the smile from the drummer at the end :smile: Well done.

Whoa, hot stuff!! Super tight! Couldn’t agree more with the previous comments, basically nothing to be improved… Lol I think Nathan East should be nervous about his job!

If that’s a cover then I don’t want to listen to the original version 'cause it can’t get any better. (sorry not so familiar with that genre)
Mix is great, everything is in its place. With that pro-level musicianship you can’t go wrong anyway.

Awesome, guys. Just awesome.

I only would double-check two relatively minor things:

  • during the organ solo, I think the organ is too loud a little bit (by 1 or 2dB).
  • before that, it feels to me that the organ is “hooting” a bit too much in the low register. Try to take out some low-mid / mid frequencies (around 200-400Hz or so) by some dB with an EQ.

@TonyBKDE I usually smile much more than I did in this video… I guess I look so scowling because I could not make real music with real people, but just in front of a webcam. Awful time…

@GMaq Nathan East is just unbeatable! Not only he’s a terrific bass player, but he also sings like angel and (last but not least) he’s really great looking… Nothing left for anybody else! :smiley:

@peter.zenk Thanks a lot, but I have to disagree on one point: a bad mix can spoil even the best musicians’ performance! :smiley:

@slash As @SpotlightKid pointed out there’s no organ, but I might agree with you about the low-mid of Rhodes

Except, concerning the look of the drummer and his steady playing with smart fills.
I have the feeling that I have Mick Fleetwood here on the video!!!
