I forgot to mention that text with partial colors is also tricky. That uses gtk labels with markup. e.g.
Foo: <span color="red">bar</span><span color="green">baz</span>
Clock-texts 27,28 and status-bar 26,29 fall into this category. Probably 72, too. Making that themeable is possible but it doesn’t fit the usual schema.
