Yeah, exactly. They sure do look nice! Maybe I should reconsider ![]()
I used an old iron curtain rail and a few elements to mount the monitors on the bar table. With 3D printed parts. I’m very happy with it. It was a bit of work, but my wall is too unstable to mount something that heavy. I can also adjust the height of the standing desk and the monitors adapt to it. I can share the 3D model on request.
That looks awesome! How did you fix the monitors to the stands?
I have two threaded holes on the back of the monitors for wall mounting. I had to print these two rather large parts. The monitors rest on four rubber buffers at the front and are screwed on from behind with two screws.
That looks really pro, also that they’re angled a bit. I should really find someone with a 3D printer or find a nearby maker space…
Correct me if I’m wrong but I always thought angling monitors was not advised…? I’m sure I learnt years and years ago to keep em straight / perpendicular, at ear level, forming an equilateral triangle with your head.
Each to their own though of course. We all have our own preferred ways of working ![]()
Nice! Our neighbours in the west. Really more than bikes, cheese and Ganja*. Thanks for posting the link!
