[solved] Yabridge in Ardour 8.12 on Ubuntu 25.04 and later versions

FYI: Nembrini Audio plugins can now be run without iLok. They have their own Software Center now. I use their DC30 pretty much every time I open Ardour.

Caveats: I’m on Mint 21, haven’t updated the plugin since Oct 2024, and am scared to let the Software Center update itself in case they’ve migrated to JUCE 8 (and the black hell that follows).

At any rate, you might take another look.

edit: just checked and their Software Center is still on JUCE v7.0.12 (still not going to update :slight_smile: )

Thanks for the heads up.

We meanwhile removed libreadline.so – and statically link ardour-lua against it for binary releases for upcoming Ardour 9.

So this should no be an issue in the future.
