Make Ardour available on Steam🙏

Hello everyone,

I’d like to suggest again to make Ardour available on Steam. Many well-known creative applications such as Substance Painter, Houdini, Vegas Pro, Blender, and Godot are already on Steam, yet there are still no proper audio production tools available there.

With the recent expansion announcement of Steam’s product lineup, it would get even more useful for people to access their creative workflows through steam library.

Apart from all the issues raised in previous thread, there is no interest in sharing 5-15% of Ardour’s income with Steam, nor add additional DRM…

It is easy enough to get Arodur and the issue is not installing but, but learning how to use it. Steam won’t help there.
