Location of installed Samplepacks

Hi there, where are samples stored I download via the Library Downloader?

You can click the “Open Folder” icon on the Cue page to find out.

the defaults are

  • GNU/Linux: $XDG_DATA_HOME/share/clips (usually $HOME/.local/share/sounds/clips/)
  • macOS: ~/Library/Audio/Sounds/Clips
  • Windows: %localappdata%\ClipLibrary

You can change this in Preferences > Triggering > User writable Clip Library.
Note however that changing the preference does not move already existing files.

I think I missed it because when you click an arrow to show a libraries content then the “Open Folder” Icon vanishes. Here on Ubuntu 22.04.
