If you already have a debug version, perhaps try the latter first.

We know

  • Data from the tape can be decoded by Arodur’s LTC parser correctly.
  • Connections are not updated correctly, so chances are that Ardour assumes the LTC Timecode master is not connected…

but

  • sometimes LTC is displayed correctly.

So it’d be interesting if LTC_TransportMaster::process_ltc decodes a regular stream or not.

-D LTC enables the existing DEBUG_TRACE (DEBUG::LTC ... ) messages which end up on stdout.
